How do I show the side menu on my Android?
The sidebar provides access to commonly used feeds and features. Tap the sidebar icon in the top left corner of the screen to open the sidebar. Tap anywhere outside the sidebar to close it.
How do I open the side menu?
In the final rollout of Android 10, though, this behavior does help make it a bit easier to open up side menus. A long-press on the side of the display where a side menu resides should trigger the peeking behavior. After roughly a second, the menu will slightly emerge and give you the opportunity to fully slide it out.
How do I turn on side swipe?
Look for and open the Navigation bar option. Tap on Swipe gestures. From here, tap on the More options button under Swipe gestures. You'll find an option that says Swipe from bottom; ignore it, and select Swipe from sides and bottom.
